Are your estimates really free?

Yes. Free estimates are available for projects that require information gathering or a visual assessment. Diagnostic service calls and minor repairs may require a paid appointment.

Are your electricians available for same-day service and emergency after-hours calls?

Yes. Cox Electrical Service provides daily service appointments and 24-hour emergency electrical help when urgent issues need attention.

What are your normal rates?

The page lists a standard service call diagnostic and first hour rate, followed by an hourly rate for additional time. Call to confirm current rates before scheduling.

Why are my outside plugs not working?

A tripped GFCI outlet or breaker is a common cause. Unplug exterior devices and try resetting the GFCI. If it will not reset, schedule an electrician to inspect for moisture, wiring, or device problems.

Should I be concerned about a Federal Pacific electrical panel?
